The Lancaster County Agricultural Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit of publicly-elected board of passionate volunteers who run the Lancaster Event Center (LEC) and Lancaster County’s Super Fair to the benefit of Lancaster County, Nebraska and its citizens. Their mission is to share experiences in a unique venue that showcases the agricultural nature of Lancaster County and to contribute greatly to the county’s youth, culture and economy.

LEC hosts over 320+ events per year so that they can support a 10-day county fair for the 4-H and FFA kids to qualify for state, regional and national finals. In its 150th year, grown from two days in borrowed buildings with 5,000 attendees to now 10 days with over 120,000 attendees, it is the showcase of Lancaster County with over 9,000 entries from more than 700 local 4-H/FFA youth exhibitors and 500+ open-class exhibitors of all ages. The Lancaster County Super Fair is the largest county fair in Nebraska and one of the largest 4-H/FFA county fairs in the country.

The facility provides a safe and fun environment for families all year long and drives economic impact to the surrounding area and reduces tax liability of the local community. As a non-profit with over 400,000 square feet, 160 acres and a County Fair that needs to be maintained, continually improved and accessible to the benefit of youth and the community for years to come, please consider giving generously to help us continue to…let the good times grow!

Give to Lincoln Day - May 28, 2020

Give to Lincoln Day is a time when everyone in Lincoln is asked to make a donation toward the organizations that are crucial to the care, support and spirit of our great city. Times have changed. Our local nonprofits need you now more than ever. Every donation you make from May 1 to May 28 in support of Give to Lincoln Day makes a bigger impact because nonprofits also get a proportional share of a $500,000 challenge match fund provided by Lincoln Community Foundation and their sponsors.

Give because…Lincoln comes together to help Lincoln.

Local community support makes it possible for us as a nonprofit to continue to fulfill our mission to give back to our county's youth, culture and economy.
