Camp under the Nebraska skies at the back of our 160 acre fairgrounds. Camp out during our biggest event of the year, the Super Fair, so you don't miss a minute of the fun! Come let the good times grow!

 

Camping amenities include...

• 200 gravel spots to choose from
• 30-amp or 50-amp electrical hookups
• Showers located nearby in the Multi-Purpose Arena (For Super Fair & Carnival/Talent Festival, showers open 7 am – midnight, Wed Aug 1- Sat Aug 11; otherwise open during event hours)
• Potable water fill up and dump station in parking lot at campground entrance.
• David Murdock Trail for walking or jogging on southern edge
• Stevens Creek and our back pasture for hiking or dog walking on eastern edge

 

NOTE:
We are currently upgrading campsites to add water and adding more campsites to the east in preparation for the July 2020 & July 2021 NHSFR event. Please note posted signs on arrival that may restrict access to parts of our grounds during construction for your safety & due to insurance/City regulations. We apologize for any inconvenience but know you’ll enjoy the upgrades as we finish them by early 2020!

 

Nightly Rate: $25 per night

Monthly Rate: $375 per night (may stay for up to 3 months, at that time must leave for a minimum of 2 months unless received written exception from Managing Director)

Fall Football Season Rate (approx. Labor Day to Thanksgiving): $900 (3 months paid up front)

You may also pay when you get here with cash, check or card at the LEC office (M-F, 8-4), or at these locations if open for an event: General Store in Pavilion 2 or any open cafe.

For after hours arrival, call us ahead of time M-F, 8-4 at 402-441-6545, option 0 to make arrangements for your campsite to be ready for you.

If you need additional assistance after hours, contact the LEC camp steward in marked campsite near front of campground, any LEC operations staff in grey shirts or visit the General Store or a café if open. If you don’t see any staff, please call our 24/7 LEC Manager on Call at 402-429-4536.

 

Finding Your Campsite Upon Arrival

1. Reserved campsites will have a reservation tag on the electric pedestal—look for your name.

2. If you are arriving without a reservation, you may select a site without a reservation slip on the electric pedestal but DO NOT UNHOOK YOUR CAMPER. First find a LEC staff member to make sure the site is available for your entire desired stay and you pay for your spot. Then our staff will unlock your site’s electric pedestal and be happy to answer any other questions you have to get settled in.

 

Camping Policies

1. Checking In/Permits- Campers must check in and secure a permit for camping in their designated area from the Lancaster Event Center Office. The office is open from 8am to 4pm. Please display permits at all times.

2. Fees- All fees are to be paid in advance— Please have them turned in by 10 am or within an hour after your arrival to the campground.

3. Refunds- If you need to cancel your reservation, please call the Lancaster Event Center office as soon as possible at 402.441.6545 (M-F, 8-4) or our 24/7 Manager on Call phone line at 402.429.4536. Cancellations are refunded until 2 pm the day before check-in less a 15% fee to cover credit card & other handling costs. Cancellations after 2 pm the day before check-in will be refunded less one night’s stay. We reserve the right to change the refund policy for special events where the campground is sold out such as the Bonus Race Finals each June—see special event sites for details. Requested refunds will be available in 7-10 business days.

4. Quiet Hours- In order to maintain an enjoyable camping experience for all guests, our quiet hours are from 9 pm to 6 am. Please respect all campers need for a good night's sleep!

5. Campsites- Our campsites are designed so vehicles can pull in and out to save you the hassle of backing in. Campsites must be kept clean at all times, there are dumpsters provided for your convenience.

6. Pets- We want your stay to be enjoyable for you, your pet, and our other guests. To ensure that this happens, please keep pets on a leash at all times. Unleashed pets may be subject to removal and/or impoundment. Additionally, please pick up pet waste must and dispose of it properly. Pets must be under control at all times.

7. Children- All children must have adult supervision. Those under the age of 18 cannot rent a space to camp without an adult.

8. Dump Station- The dump station is located to the west of the campground. Water is available there. You must dump black or gray water at the dump station.

9. Showering/Restrooms- For those who wish to use them, we have showers located in the Multi-Purpose Arena. The showers are open from 7:30 am until 5 pm. There are restrooms located in each of our buildings.

10. Fire pits- Fire pits are allowed in your enclosed metal fire pit that is supervised by a responsible adult (this includes grills: charcoal/propane).

11. FIREARMS, WEAPONS, EXPLOSIVES, FIREWORKS, AND DRUGS ARE STRICTLY PROHIBITED.

12. Alcohol- Only beer and wine are allowed on Parks and Open Space properties.

13. Checking In/Out Times- Check in normally after 1pm and checkout normally before 11am the following day. You may request earlier or later and we will try to accommodate.
